Green Initiatives Overview for Genting Highlands City Center (GHCC)​

At Genting Highlands City Center (GHCC), sustainability is at the core of our vision. We are committed to preserving the unique biodiversity and natural beauty of the highlands while creating a modern, world-class destination. Our development uses only 30% of the available land, ensuring that the remaining 70% remains untouched to conserve the ancient rainforest, rivers, and mountains that define Genting Highlands’ ecosystem.​

GHCC is tucked within a more than 200-million-year-old rainforest, home to rich biodiversity that we are dedicated to protecting. By integrating modern green technologies, we aim to coexist harmoniously with nature. Our key green initiatives include:​
 
Renewable Energy Usage: GHCC harnesses renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, and hydro to power the development, reducing our carbon footprint and promoting clean energy practices.​
